No Short loop on Tram This Week
The short loop running around JBR on the Dubai Tram will not be available this week while testing takes place on the track. This loop cuts journey times between JBR and JLT/Marina Mall, rather than having to go around the whole route. Testing will take place from Monday to Thursday but all stations remain operational as the main route of Dubai Tram will still be running.

Lifts Closed for Maintenance
The lifts at two tram stations – station 4 – Dubai Marina Mall, and station 6 – Marina Towers, have been closed for maintenance until 2 August. This will make it very difficult (if not impossible) for those with wheelchairs and/or pushchairs to access the street level from the tram stations. If you need lift access then it would be advisable to use another station or else to find some other method of transport.

The tram is currently only working between 3 stations, Al Sufouh, Knowledge Village and Palm Jumeirah. Work is being carried out to clean up the debris so that tram services can recommence as soon as possible.
