Tram Timings Changed

The RTA has announced that, effective from 1st November 2017, the starting time for Dubai Tram will change by half an hour so that Tram operations will now commence at 6am on weekdays instead of 6.30am.

This will give early risers the opportunity to travel to work a bit earlier than usual and perhaps for some of the congestion to ease. This change applies to travel from Saturdays to Thursdays.

On Fridays normal operational hours will be the same – from 9am until 1am the next day.

The Metro is also being given earlier working hours – the Red line will now open at 5am and the Green Line will start running at 5.30am, also helping commuter congestion which is quite high at peak times of travel.
