Al Sufouh Tram to Open 1st Half 2014
So the Al Sufouh Tram project is on schedule to open in the first half of 2014. Previously it had been announced that it would open in November 2014 but significant progress has been made in recent months and the estimated opening date has now been brought forward.
Not all of the stations will be open and not all of the trams will be in use when the project is first opened but it will be a great start to get the tram network up and running earlier than previously thought.
